The History of Pirate’s Cove Adventure Golf

Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf was founded in 1983 in Traverse City, Michigan, and quickly grew North to Petoskey, Michigan.  Following the success of these first two ventures, the Pirate's Cove family quickly added sites in Door County, Wisconsin, Gulf Shores, Alabama, and on Cape Cod, Massachusetts.  Pirate's Cove has now grown to 24 locations nation-wide, with locations as far West as Rapid City, South Dakota, as far North and East as Bar Harbor, Maine, and several locations throughout Florida.

While not all Adventure Golf courses are Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf courses, certainly the first "Adventure Golf" was by Pirate's Cove, in Traverse City.  That's why Pirate's Cove is "The Original"® Adventure Golf.
